Approach
We use a 5 step iterative approach for all our analytic projects. This process allows us to quickly validate the results for the business impact and guide the analysis. The iterative analysis also provides quick feedback for the business owners. The 5 steps are as follow:
- Analysis questions to answer
- Collect and upload data to cloud
- Data wrangling
- Data analysis
- Presentation of result
In the first step we help the customers by identifying potential use cases that can benefit from the analysis. We also conduct ROI (return on investment) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) calculations to help quantify the benefits of analytic projects. We use various methods and techniques to drill down to get to the root cause One such analysis method use is “Why Why” analysis.
In the second phase we collect the relevant data sets that are required to carry out the analysis. We work closely with the customer to identify and acquire quality data set from a trusted source. This data we upload to cloud (for Big data analysis).
We have developed various internal tools and accelerator frameworks to accomplish this task in a very short time so that analyst and Data Scientists can focus on the real analysis.
